Donate Food
Chelan-Douglas Community Action Council operates the Food Distribution Center, which distributes food to local food pantries throughout Chelan and Douglas counties. To donate food to a specific food pantry or to the food distribution center, contact our office at (509) 662-6156 or food@cdcac.org.
Green Bags
Consider taking part in our Green Bags program, a door-to-door food collection program that will provide a steady supply of food to local food pantries. The program is really easy! Just sign up and receive a green shopping bag. Each time you go shopping, buy one extra non-perishable food item. Store it in your bag and on the second Saturday of every other month, a volunteer will pick up the bag, leave another in its place and take the filled bag to the North Central Washington Food Distribution Center.

Host a Food Drive at your place of business, event, or organization. Contact us at (509) 662-6156 to discuss details.

Fred Meyer Community Rewards
We are enrolled for the Fred Meyer Community Rewards program! Select Chelan-Douglas Community Action Council as your organization of choice on the program website.
Chelan County PUD Helping Hand
Helping Hand helps low-income families pay their electric bills. Customers can automatically make a Helping Hand donation every time they pay their Chelan County PUD bill. If you have any questions about the program, call (509) 661-8002.
