Our mission is to end poverty by empowering people and improving lives.

Chelan-Douglas Community Action Council is a private not-for-profit corporation primarily serving the residents of Chelan and Douglas Counties. We also serve Okanogan, Grant, Adams, and Lincoln Counties through AmeriCorps Seniors. We assist individuals and families to move out of poverty into a lifestyle that promotes a safer and healthier living environment.


Help us Feed Local Families November 8th and 9th!

Help us Stuff the Bus with food to help local families in collaboration with Link Transit, area Rotary Clubs, Albertson’s. Wenatchee Wild and Grocery Outlet – Wenatchee! This weekend (November 8-9), there are three opportunities to put food on the table for those in need. Drop off food items or donate online and we will purchase food. Community Action distributes to multiple food pantries throughout Chelan and Douglas counties.
