2026 Empty Bowls Calendar
Sunday, February 15, 2026 from 1:00 pm-5:00 pm at Pybus Public Market in the LocalTel Event Center
Empty Bowls is the Food Distribution Center’s annual fundraiser. We partner with Wenatchee High School students to make it happen. Going strong since 2015, Empty Bowls proceeds help to fund general operations and purchase much-needed equipment.
It’s easy to participate. Here’s how:
1) Watch for our outreach on upcoming Empty Bowls painting dates. Paintings usually start late fall. Dates will be on our EVENTS CALENDAR , our Facebook page, Pybus’s Events page, and will be announced on the radio.
2) Choose your time and set a reservation. Brought on by the COVID pandemic, reservations allow for a little extra
elbow room to an otherwise very popular and crowded event. You can either purchase a bowl for a small
donation at that time, or wait until the day of the painting.
3) Arrive the day of your reservation, pick up your bowl and paint selection, and PAINT PAINT PAINT! Volunteers
are available to help with designs and techniques.
4) Pick up your glazed, fired, and ready-to-use bowl at our event dinner while enjoying a bowl of soup donated
from a local restaurant. Our soup donors have included Garlini’s, Lemolo, Plaza Super Jet, and Visconti’s.
